NEWS: Our ambitious plans to regenerate Nelson town centre are moving forward. Plans for the new retail complex include a major store, nine modern retail units with attractive frontages, car parking for over 150 cars and landscaping. The internal strip out on the ageing 1960s Pendle Rise building will start in the coming months, followed by its demolition. Construction will start in 2026. NEWS: The Market Quarter Group (MQG) has been selected to take over the running of Colne Market Hall. This is subject to further negotiations and an agreed signed contract. MQG has a proven track record of market hall regeneration with expertise in food and drink courts, including the highly successful Congleton Market Quarter in Cheshire.
