Calling all sports clubs or teams! 🏅 We've teamed up with The Guide Liverpool to launch the Liverpool ONE Sports Grants Competition, offering six local sports clubs or teams a £500 grant each to help with essentials like kit, equipment, travel to games or signage. ChessFest returned to Liverpool ONE on Sunday ♟ Hosted by Chess in Schools and Communities and the Merseyside Chess Association, the free, family-friendly event brought people of all ages and abilities together for a full day of chess! From complete beginners to seasoned players, everyone was welcome to take part. The day included: ❤ Free chess lessons for adults and children ❤ Social games throughout the day ❤ Giant outdoor chess ❤ Simultaneous displays where people tested their skills against a chess master A big thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day such a success! 👏

It was great to welcome School Food Matters and The Young Marketeers veg market back to Liverpool ONE yesterday – now the biggest in the country! 🥕 15 brilliant local schools set up their stalls on Paradise Place, selling homegrown fruit and veg to raise money for charity – and even had a visit from the Lord Mayor! ❤
