Let's ceLLAbrate Declan, one of our Operations Duty Managers who goes above and beyond for our passengers 👋 When he learned an arriving guest had hurt her leg, Declan arranged for a wheelchair to meet her at the airport gate to keep her comfortable. But that’s not all! He personally escorted the passenger and her husband to immigration, and then arranged for our friendly Guest Experience team to retrieve their bags and assist the passengers in their onward journey. Starting in 2011 as a part-time Security officer, Declan's worked his way up in a team that keeps London Luton Airport going 24/7. His job typically sees him ensuring the safe, smooth running of the airfield, but will always make time to help our guests ✈️ #LondonLuton #LondonLutonAirport

London Luton Airport has published its 2024 Sustainability Report, highlighting that a record number of 14,000 directly-linked jobs are now sustained in and around the airport ✈️ The report charts LLA’s progress and key ongoing initiatives in driving positive social impacts across local communities and limiting key environmental impacts including climate change and noise. It also highlights that last year 60% of LLA’s supply chain spend was directed to over 320 local businesses within a 25-mile radius, totalling £110 million.
