Yesterday we had the pleasure of visiting site at our Bootle Strand Transformation project! 🚜🏗️ It was surreal to see the demolition works underway after being involved from the earlier days, looking at plans on paper and discussing the project strategy with K2 Architects / Avison Young │ UK and Sefton Council ! 💭 This project fills me with great pride, being able to support a neighbouring community to our own and unlocking regeneration in Bootle! Thank you to VINCI Construction for having us - it’s a fantastic project so far with lots of local social value already being achieved! 👏🏻 Andrew Shelmerdine Adrian Drinkwater Mark Davies Ramone Johnson Heather Jago Faye Dolan MCIPS Jess Jones 🤝

It’s Good Care Month so we’re hearing from Social Worker Cate 🌻 💬 “Well, I made a difference for that one person.” Cate reminds us that even the smallest acts of care can ripple outwards. Cate finds laughter, teamwork, and resilience through everyday support. ☕ Case chats over tea. Rubbish jokes welcome. No AMHP left behind. 👏 Join us in celebrating the quiet courage of care professionals this #GoodCareMonth.

Anyone can be a victim of human trafficking. 🚨❗ Today is World Day Against Trafficking in Persons. So Sefton's Safeguarding Partnership board reminds everyone that human trafficking doesn’t only happen abroad. It’s an organised crime that can impact people from any background. ☎️ If you see something that doesn’t look right, trust your instincts and call the free Modern Slavery & Exploitation Helpline on 08000 121 700. Let’s stand together to help end exploitation. Find out more at: 🔗 https://lnkd.in/eAwENaq4
