There was such a buzz at today's Wellbeing Marketplace! It was great to see colleagues drop by and engage in a way that was meaningful to them. ✅️ We had fun but informative quizzes on fire safety 🔥 and first aid 🤕 ✅️ A visit from Manchester University NHS Foundation Trusts Employee Health and Wellbeing Team talking about musculoskeletal health, staying active in desk based roles and the wider support on offer 💪 ✅️ The Rewards & Benefirs Team came to share what's available to staff and how to make the most of offers, discounts and resources 💰 - thank you Bethany Frost! ✅️ Our Freedom to Speak Up Champion shared the importance of speaking up, being heard and organisations taking action - thank you Cara W Afzal 🗣 ✅️ We shared our internal guide to all things wellbeing and launched our guide to setting up clubs and socials empowering staff to start book clubs, walking groups or breakfast gatherings 📚 ✅️ And we shared healthy recipes to brighten up lunch times and beyond! 🥗 The purpose of today was to show that wellbeing isn't one size fits all. For some, it’s the reassurance that we are flexible and compassionate to those handling the military-grade logistics of school holiday clubs. For others, it’s knowing they’re not expected to do it all alone, rather that help is available when they need it. And for others, it’s feeling genuinely safe, physically and psychologically, in a workplace that values openness, inclusivity and honesty. Today was about showing all of that. Compassion.
