  • Earlier this year our Gynaecology team took part in BTR Liverpool 10k tunnel run to raise funds for patients experiencing pregnancy loss and gynaecology issues. The funds they raised helped to restock the emergency cupboard Liverpool Women's NHS Foundation Trust ensuring our patients have access to essential items when they need it most 💜 Well done Charlotte and the team - our staff are the best 🥰

  • Yesterday we held our very first Golf Day in aid of Liverpool Women's NHS Foundation Trust — and what a lovely day it was! While it was a small field, each team took part because they genuinely care about the hospital and the specialist care we provide. That meant a lot to us. 💜 Special shoutout to: ✨ IF Finishes & MJ Quinn for kindly sponsoring the event ✨ John, the club professional, for expertly handling all the scorecards (and patiently guiding two clueless charity team members Loren Slade & Kate Davis through the world of golf!) ✨ All the incredibly helpful staff at Huyton & Prescot Golf Club — you made the day run so smoothly. We’re already thinking about how we can build on this next year — but for now, we’re just so grateful for the people who made this one special. 💫 LegalforLandlords @safepoint SIMPLE TRADE SOLUTIONS LTD Verde Services Carpenters Group IF Finishes MJ Quinn

  • It’s never too late to go neon for Neo! 💛💚💜🧡 Going neon is a simple but meaningful way to support our littlest patients being cared for at Liverpool Women's NHS Foundation Trust Why not host your own go neon for Neo day in your office? Whether you go all out, or add a pop of colour to your day, every little helps. Here are some gorgeous photos of Baby Sebsory central Liverpool, a group who went all out this year. 🙌💜 To get involved email fundraising@lwh.nhs.uk

Sutcliffe, alongside our chosen charities and generous sponsors, came together this morning over breakfast to celebrate an incredible fundraising total, presenting our cheques to each worthy charity. Sutcliffe's Charity Ball was a particularly meaningful night this year, with a personal connection that touched the heart of our team and everyone in the room. We are beyond proud to have supported three amazing charities, and we are so grateful to everyone who made the night so special. Thank you to every guest, donation, and sponsor, and to Jacqui Johnson for her vulnerability and willingness to share her story. • What a lovely day 💜 Liverpool Women's Hospital Charity are proud to fund this much needed refurbishment for our families. With thanks to everyone who supported us 💜 Our 'Tiny Toes to Grateful Hearts' fundraising campaign remains open, as we continue to fund items for the unit that are over and above the NHS promise of care. https://lnkd.in/e3Ym-YwF Julie Lawson BEM Simon Krol David Melia James Sumner Jenny Hannon Dr Yana Richens OBE Kate Davis Loren Slade Katie Bragg

Lovely to welcome Julie Lawson, Deputy Lord Lieutenant to mark the completion of the refurbishment of our Midwifery Led Unit. We were also joined by patients and former midwives who worked on the original unit that was opened in 1999. The ethos that stood then remains today, continued by our midwifery led team who are passionate about supporting women’s birth choices and facilitating physiological birth. The refurbishment was made possible through a legacy gift, MLU team fundraising and support from Liverpool Women's Hospital Charity – ‘From tiny toes to grateful hearts campaign’. This aims to improve the birthing environment for the women in our care. The charity also provides baby bundles to current families on the unit, this includes a knitted baby blanket, cardigan and hat as a gift from the Little Woollens shop – with a commemorative card.

  • 📣 We're proud to welcome Simon Krol as our first official Ambassador for Liverpool Women’s Hospital Charity. As an Ambassador, Simon will help us grow our network, raise awareness, and champion our work across the city. This marks the launch of our wider ambassador programme—an exciting milestone for the charity as we continue to expand our impact beyond NHS funding, supporting patients, families, staff and research at Liverpool Women's NHS Foundation Trust 💜 Thank you, Simon, for standing with us. #Charity #LiverpoolWomens #Ambassador #Fundraising #GivingBack #WomensHealth James Sumner Jenny Hannon

Simon Krol joins Liverpool Women’s Hospital Charity as ambassador Liverpool Women’s Hospital Charity are delighted to welcome Simon Krol, Director of KROL CORLETT GROUP Construction as an official ambassador. As an Ambassador, Simon will play a key role in raising awareness, supporting fundraising efforts, and helping the charity connect with new supporters. Simon first got involved with Liverpool Women’s Hospital (LWH) through LWH Charity’s 2024 Strictly Come Dancing event which seen Simon stepping out of his comfort zone to raise money in support of the charity. This journey opened Simon up to his connection to the hospital and has since become a passionate supporter of the work of LWH Charity. Simon said “Becoming an ambassador for LWH Charity is an honour. My family’s journey has included heartbreak and brought us a lot of joy with our three healthy children, all born at LWH. Supporting the hospital in this new role is my way of giving back and helping to ensure other families get the same incredible support when they need it most. I’m proud to stand alongside the charity as an individual but also through Krol Corlett too, where we are passionate about supporting causes that help others.” Simon and his wife experienced three miscarriages and delivered three healthy children at LWH, Simon understands first hand the importance of the care and support the hospital provides to families. Dr Yana Richens OBE, Director of Midwifery at Liverpool Women’s Hospital said “We’re delighted to welcome Simon as an ambassador to LWH Charity. The charity plays a crucial role in helping us go above and beyond our NHS funding. Having an ambassador like Simon, who shares our values is a great addition. His personal connection with our Trust will help us provide more support to families though their difficult and most joyful moments.” The aim of the Liverpool Women’s Hospital Charity is to support the care given to patients and their families. Alongside that main aim we also help to fund research and staff welfare initiatives as well as providing greater access to training and development opportunities. Kate Davis, Head of Fundraising for Liverpool Women’s Hospital added “Appointing Simon Krol as our first official ambassador represents a significant milestone for Liverpool Women’s Hospital Charity. This marks the launch of a wider ambassador programme designed to strengthen our presence across the city, engage new supporters, and amplify the impact of our work. We’re proud to take this step forward and deeply value Simon’s commitment to our cause.”

  • We wanted to take today to say a huge thank you to Samantha Growney who completed 2 half marathons in 2 months to raise funds for Honeysuckle. 🏃♀️💜 here is a quote from Sam that explains why she decided to fundraise. 'I decided to raise money for The Honey suckle team because its cause is deeply personal to me, and I wanted to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those it supports. Seeing the impact of their work inspired me to take action, and I knew that setting myself a challenge would not only push me out of my comfort zone but also encourage others to donate and raise awareness. By taking on this challenge, I hope to inspire people to support the charity and show that even small efforts can make a big impact. This journey is about more than just fundraising—it’s about making a real change and showing support for a cause that truly matters' 💜 It really means so much to us that you found comfort in fundraising and we are so grateful for the donation! #thankyouthursday

  • We are thrilled to announce that two of our neonatal flats on Chancellor Court have finally had a much-needed overhaul. We started fundraising for the upgrade of the flats a few years ago under the BIG TINY STEPS APPEAL and are delighted to share that the flats are now refurbished and refreshed and very much fit for purpose for our families staying with us whilst their baby is on the Neonatal unit. Thank you to all the appeal donors that enabled this transformation and thank you for your patience whilst the work took place. Kate Davis – Head of Fundraising said “ We have been overwhelmed with the generosity of families and our supporters. Now our flats are cosy , safe and secure, somewhere families can relax and recharge after a stressful time on the unit with their baby. The flats allow family time and a space to reflect and come to terms with having a critically ill baby, all within walking distance of the unit” We would also like to extend our thanks to Paula B. and all the supporters that answered her call for help to furnish the flats. The generosity shown by our community has been exceptional and will make a huge difference to our families who need a home away from home. Follow Paula B. for more information on this incredible transformation 💜 THANK YOU!
