This summer, we’re helping our customers with uniform costs for primary school age children by sending them vouchers to be redeemed online. A huge thank you to Trutex Ltd for supporting our campaign and for helping us make it happen. We can already see that we’re making a difference: “As a single parent working part time, the saving for uniform can be quite stressful for me. This voucher came at just the right time and was so needed. It helped ease that burden in such a meaningful way. It might seem like a small gesture but to me, it meant a great deal. Thanks to Brixton Chamber Orchestra the Stockwell community recently had an afternoon to remember. The 30-piece orchestra played to a packed Morley College London hall, with a unique mix of classical, rap, and singalong hits. The event was part of the orchestra’s Summer Estate Tour, which aims to bring live music directly to local communities, connecting with new audiences, who might not otherwise experience a traditional concert setting. This was a truly collaborative effort, pitched and led by Stockwell Gardens Residents’ Association and supported by Hyde with everything from logistics, to sponsorship via Match My Project, to teaming up with YOUNG PEOPLE MATTER LTD and Morley College London to deliver the event. #UKHousing #Community #SocialValue

A huge thank you to JustAsk Services, Hyde colleagues and residents for their incredible volunteering work recently at The Crescent in Sidcup. Together, we removed an impressive 28 tonne bags of gardening waste from the estate.    It was a fantastic day of giving back, engaging with our residents, and working side by side to help improve the estate's grounds.    Well done to local Neighbourhood Officer, Danielle Bothwell, who organised the day and is also working with the local council and neighbouring rugby club to trim and reduce trees, further enhancing the community for our residents. Thank you to Hyde colleagues for holding a toiletries collection for Ringcross Community Centre, Islington, when they heard that there was a growing demand for toiletries at their foodbank. And, thank you to our Property Maintenance colleagues, who collected and delivered the toiletries from our offices, which were then received by The Pilion Trust Ltd Trust Board Member, Dolores Steadman, along with Hyde’s Projects and Partnerships Manager, Rachel Pearson. Our site in Seasalter near Whitstable, which will see the creation of 220 affordable new homes, has received the LABC Warranty - The Bricks site recognition award from the LABC recognising the very best developments, construction management and workmanship.
