Early CPR and defibrillation with an AED can significantly increase someone’s chances of surviving a cardiac arrest.💚 For every minute that defibrillation is delayed the persons chance of survival decreases by around 10%. AEDs are compact, portable, easy to use, safe and very effective. They can be used by anyone, whether or not they have had formal training.💚 Yorkshire Ambulance Service supported by YAS Charity, has put together this informative poster guide. Share this post, spread the word and you could save a life!💚🚑💚 #SaveALife #AEDAwareness #YorkshireAmbulanceService

Yorkshire has over 7,000 defibrillators connected to The Circuit which means our call handlers can quickly direct people to their nearest defibrillator in an emergency. Are you a defibrillator guardian? Make sure it’s available for saving lives and connect it to The Circuit - https://bit.ly/4agpm5m

Our Patient Transport Service (PTS) vehicles have changed a lot over the years, from the 80s and 90s to now. The latest change has been the introduction of electric vehicles. 35 eco-friendly vehicles have been introduced across Bramley, Barnsley, Bradford, Doncaster, Hull, Scunthorpe and Wakefield, where electric charging infrastructure has been fully installed.
