Camden Family Day Care's annual Educator Forum took place on Saturday 28 June —a wonderful opportunity for their educators to come together, connect, and be inspired over delicious food and great company! 😉 A big thank you to guest speaker Greg from Yama 2 You Bush Tucker Nursery. Greg shared his knowledge around bush tucker and the importance of connecting with, and caring for Country. They were also inspired by one of their educators Natasha, who presented on programming in the moment and how it supports meaningful, child-led learning 💜 Educators enjoyed participating in a “Share and Trade” table, exchanging resources and ideas, and each walked away with an educator resource pack generously donated by Auntiz Op Stop. The forum was a celebration of collaboration, culture, and continuous learning 👏 Check out some of the highlights from the day!

On Wednesday we held our Staff Bushcare Event! 🌱 This was a great chance to spend time outdoors while making a real impact on our local environment! Staff members planted 40 critically endangered Camden White Gums (also known as the Eucalyptus benthamii) as part of the Saving our Species project - helping restore genetic diversity along the Nepean River. We came, we planted, we conquered 🌿💪 Thanks to everyone who made the Staff Bushcare Day amazing! Check out some highlights from the day ⬇
